The adults dance group performs traditional Flemish country life dances. Various themes, such as the "May Dance", the harvest, matrimony and the "Tar Celebration" are amongst them. And since during the last years, more and more new Flemish dances are being created, the Flemish folk art is being kept vivacious ! Our group gains lots of applause everywhere we go because of the playful character of the dances, performed at a high rythm, that makes the whole of the performance a splendid exhibition. Nearly all dances are so called "couple dances", in which the figures are being danced by a man (boy) and woman(girl) together. Yet we also have some special dances, such as the "Candle Dance", the "Margiet".
The dress/costume of our group goes back to the times of Tyl Uilenspiegel and Breughel (15th-16th centuries). Both costumes of man and woman are frisky and light, which goes along perfectly well with the Flemish dances presented by our group.
